on Human Geography panels, had a booth that profiled our
innovative social media and geospatial applications, and we also
co-sponsored the opening night party. In
addition to several key DoD/IC seniors that stopped by our booth, we had over 300 industry
visitors during the week. And yes, we gave away helicopters this year and they were a huge hit!

09.07.2012 - Golf Tournament for Special Operations Warrior Foundation
HumanGeo participated as a Silver Sponsor of the K2 Golf Tournament for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation on September 7, 2012 at the Country Club of North Carolina. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides college scholarship grants to surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel killed in combat or training missions. These scholarships cover the full cost of a college education at post-secondary institutes across the nation, including state and community colleges, vocational-technical training and career institutes.

The HumanGeo team attended GeoInt 2011 in full force and made their presence known with an crowd-stopping
booth and the panel participation of CEO Al Di Leonardo and CTO Abe Usher. To be fair, the R/C helicopter giveaway
also attracted some attention. The booth showed off HumanGeo's innovative geospatial
analytics with a demo of the USGIF award nominated ISEBOX application and a case study on combating
drug related crime on the Mexican border using Social Media monitoring with geospatial analysis. The
team had a great time in San Antonio, but after four days, a lot of Tex-Mex, and even more
Texas BBQ, the team was ready to get back to the grind.>>read more
