Al is a decorated combat veteran with 20 years of US Army and Intelligence Community service. Al has served in Iraq, Kuwait, Africa, the Balkans, Korea, and Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He spent most of the last 15 years inside the NSA, NGA, and with US Special Operations. He served as the aide de camp to two Directors of the NSA, and created a unique technical collection organization at NSA. Most notably, Al is widely recognized as the former director of US Special Operations Command's most elite multi-discipline intelligence cell. In 2011, Al was the most junior military officer selected as one of the top 100 Federal employees by the prestigious "Fed100" because of his vision and implementation of technically enhanced multi-disciplined intelligence fusion making: his cell became the gold standard for intelligence across the Department of Defense. Al is also a visiting Senior Research Fellow at the National Defense University, and a member of the United States Geospatial Foundation planning committee. Al holds a BA in American Studies from Fordham University, an MBA in finance from Loyola University Maryland, and an MA from the Marine Corps University. |

Abe has worked in support of intelligence, security, and special operations within the US Government. After serving as a cyber-security expert at the NSA and before joining USSOCOM, Abe was a senior engineer in Google's Enterprise Division. Abe is a recognized expert within the DOD and the Intelligence Community on quantitative methods of data processing and visualization as well as an acknowledged leader in the rapidly-evolving field of decision support through data mining, data visualization, and social network analysis. He possesses over 15 years of combined government, commercial, and research experience in these areas. Abe's books and articles on data analysis and cyber-defense have been published by the Defense Technical Information Center and Wired Magazine. Abe co-authored the Defense Information Systems Agency's state-of-the-art report on malicious code trends and defenses. He earned a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MS from George Mason University. Abe holds the prestigious CISSP, CCHP, and Google Enterprise Search Engineer certifications. |

Marc is a decorated combat veteran with over 20 years of service in the U.S. Army. He led US Army special operations units in combat in Iraq, was cited for "extraordinarily conspicuous gallantry" and awarded two Bronze Star Medals and the Army Commendation Medal for Valor. He possesses extensive operational planning experience, having worked for U.S. European Command and U.S. African Command. Marc regularly trains officers from NATO and Partnership for Peace nations in Crisis Response and Emergency Management Operations. Before returning to active duty for service in Iraq, Marc served as a narcotics prosecutor in the Bronx County, New York District Attorney's Office. He handled major narcotics related cases, including homicides, and managed long term, gang and organized crime controlled, narcotics investigations. Marc earned a BA in History and Political Science from Fordham University and a JD from Hofstra University School of Law. |

Steve has spent the last four years working an elite US Special Operations innovation and data fusion cell where he was the technology innovation lead. Steve worked directly with all-source, human terrain, geospatial, and other specialized intelligence analysts to rapidly develop tools and techniques to integrate and exploit large volumes of data. He has deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan and received awards from the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Steve has also worked closely with Arlington County, VA to develop methods and prototypes for location awareness, real-time voice/video, and dynamic security policies for emergency response. Steve received a BS with highest distinction in Systems & Information Engineering at the University of Virginia, and an MS in Systems & Information Engineering. |

Altaf spent the last five years working as an Information Systems Engineer within the Center for Integrated Intelligence Systems. Altaf helped stand up a small analytical cell in support of USSOCOM, serving as the Chief of the Engineering and Innovation Division. He led a team of systems engineers and applications developers to support integration of large disparate intelligence data sources for advanced analysis and exploitation. Among his prior activities, Altaf also developed a series of web-based analytic tools with integrated social network, temporal, and geospatial visualizations for analysis of human terrain data collected by teams in Iraq and Afghanistan. Altaf received a BS with distinction in Systems & Information Engineering at the University of Virginia. In addition, he received an ME in Systems and Information Engineering at UVA, performing research in smart sensor networks using heterogeneous communications for the Army Night Vision Labs and Army INSCOM. |
